Our Community

The Kambalda Community Resource Centre is a not for profit, Shire managed organisation servicing the regional community of Kambalda.  The Kambalda Community Resource Centre is part of a network of over 100 Community Resource centres located in small rural communities in WA.

We are funded by a mixture of local and the State Government 'Royalties for Region funding: user pay services and one off grant for different projects.

This enables us to offer a five day week service to the people and visitors of the Shire of Coolgardie from our facility at 4 Barnes Drive, Kambalda West, WA 6442

The main focus each year is to:

  • Provided quality service that focuses on our community and visitors to the region.
  • Support the attraction and retention of residents in our towns.
  • Foster and provide support to the local businesses and mining sector in the region.
  • Implement provisions to access modern technology and telecommunication services.
  • Build capacity and support the development and provision of diverse high quality training opportunities.
  • Promote the Shire of Coolgardie to the regions.
  • Network with service providers and encourage service delivery to the community.
